Garden Design

  • Joe has 30 years of garden design and maintenance experience. He is happy to work with you from ideas to installation including a consultation meeting, site visits, design, plant procurement, and installation. He also loves designing pots and planters for all seasons, creating wreaths and other arrangements and crafts with dried florals.

  • Complementary 30 minute inquiry call/meeting

    $75/hour for consultation and design

    Installation rates vary by project

  • I am happy to provide references and examples of previous design work. I’d be thrilled for you to visit us here at the farm for your consultation so you can see firsthand my personal gardens.

Presentations

  • Joe has 30 years of garden design and maintenance experience. He is especially passionate about hostas and floral design. Past presentations have included information about hostas and garden design as well as demonstrations on how to build bouquets. Joe is happy to work with you to create an experience to meet your needs.

  • Complementary 30 minute inquiry call/meeting

    $100 (plus mileage) for a 60 minute existing presentation

    $150 (plus mileage and supplies) for a 60 minute demonstration

    I am also happy to create a unique experience to meet your needs. Costs will vary.

  • I am happy to provide references for previous experiences that include garden clubs and private events. As a lifelong educator, I am well equipped to handle a crowd and ensure everyone has a good time and leaves with new and exciting knowledge and ideas!

  • Each year we host a huge plant sale in early June when we have our highest availability of varieties.

    We also host a few open garden dates throughout the summer in addition to our booth at the Annandale Farmers Market every Saturday and individually scheduled appointments and private tours.
